Sharapova carries new style on court
London — Together with Maria Sharapova, HEAD Tennis has developed a new bag series to satisfy women’s needs for functionality and style on the tennis court. Maria Sharapova embodies the perfect combination of performance and style on court like no other - and so should her equipment. The second edition of the HEAD Maria Sharapova Tennis Racquet Bag collection comes in white and gold coloring, and once again blends HEAD’s innovative product design with Maria’s iconic style.
The new bag series consists of a Tennis Racquet Court bag, which Maria is carrying with her onto court at all tournaments, and a Tennis Racquet Combi bag. Both feature adjustable, padded shoulder straps, a compartment for six to eight racquets, and HEAD’s proven CCT+ technology protecting the racquets from extreme temperatures to be fully functional. Especially designed components such as its inner lining with inspirational wordings, a leather tag carrying Maria’s name, the golden embroidery of the HEAD logo and Maria’s initials give the bags a very stylish touch.
In-line with the tradition of wearing white at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Maria will premiere her new white HEAD Tennis Racquet Court Bag on the grass courts at the Wimbledon Grand Slam: “I think all ladies, whether they are tennis professionals or leisure players, want to look good when entering the court and carry good-looking accessories with them. Of course, I do as well and I enjoyed partnering with HEAD on developing the new bag series. I like the new design and the white colouring very much.”
The new HEAD Maria Sharapova Tennis Racquet Bags will be available at Retail around the world at the end of August, right in time for the US Open. Fans of HEAD Tennis on Facebook will then have the chance to win a special version of the bag, signed by Maria.
