DataArt and TENNIS.com in Technology Partnership; Site Optimized for the US Open Tennis Championship
NEW YORK—(BUSINESS WIRE)—DataArt, a high-end software outsourcing company with development centers in Eastern Europe, announced today a formal technology partnership with TENNIS.com (http://www.tennis.com), the leading tennis site on the internet, and the Official website of TENNIS Magazine.
For the high volume traffic periods surrounding this year’s US Open - the largest tennis event in the world occurring through September 7 in Flushing Meadows (New York), DataArt worked with the TENNIS Company’s internet development team to optimize TENNIS.com’s network configuration for peak loads, made enhancements to the site’s content management system and improved the performance of areas of the site hosting live scores from the US Open. Additionally, Data Art worked to integrate services from technology providers on the TENNIS.com site that pulled in just released images and news stories for all the top players in the game.
“We’re pleased to help TENNIS.com remain one of the most visited tennis sites in the world and use our expertise to improve the site’s performance,” said Eugene Goland, President of DataArt.
“DataArt’s team responded in short order to improve our site’s responsiveness, especially in key areas, such as our Live Scores page,” said Dominic Schmitt, General Manager of TENNIS.com. “The team in Eastern Europe effectively gave us a 24 hour development cycle leading up to this year’s US Open.”
