Prince Hires David Malinowski to Oversee Strings, Grips and Machines

Bordentown, NJ – June 10, 2008 –- Prince is proud to announce that David Malinowski has joined the Company as its new Global Product Manager for Strings, Grips and Machines.

A racquet technician with over twenty years of experience in stringing and racquet customization, Dave comes to Prince from Wilson Sporting Goods where he held various racquet sports roles for the past eleven years, most recently managing sales for the company’s mid-Atlantic region.

In his new position, Malinowski will be responsible for developing and managing the implementation of Prince’s global strategic plan for strings, grips, machines, and accessories. With extensive experience on the sales side, his understanding of product development, and his time spent in retail and a USPTA certified teaching professional, Malinowski brings a wealth of intimate knowledge and insights to these categories.

“Dave is uniquely qualified for this position and we are excited to have him driving these areas of business for the brand,” said Howard Lay, Vice President of Product Management for Tennis Hardgoods at Prince. “In addition to racquets, Prince has long been a leader in strings, grips and machines, bringing to market some of the most innovative products in recent years such as Recoil string. Having someone with Dave’s experience and expertise focused solely on managing these products, we have the opportunity to take these categories to the next level immediately and players should be very excited about what they are going to see from Prince.”

Malinowski is originally from New Jersey and went to Drexel University in Philadelphia. At Drexel, he played on the tennis team for all four years, and was Captain of the team in his senior year. Dave is also very well connected in the tennis industry, serving on committees in both the USPTA and USTA. He currently co-chairs the Membership and Marketing Committee of the USTA, and is the USTA Virginia District Board Member and 1st Vice President
