The ATP Internazionali BNL d’Italia, commonly known as the Italian Masters, is well underway at Rome’s Foro Italico.
The tournament is divided into two weeks of tennis action. The men took to the courts last week with Novak Dokovic taking top honors, and this week we will see the women battle it out in the Italian capital.
Aside from being a sign that the summer months have truly arrived, the tournament is one of the most prestigious on both the men’s and women’s circuits. It attracts the cream of the tennis world, who are all aiming to put finishing touches to their game at the start of the summer outdoor season.
So far Rome’s Foro Italico has seen some exciting action with the men and is continuing to see some very impressive tennis from the ladies side.
