Bälle de Mätch Hires Industry Veteran Sheri Norris as National Sales and Promotions Manager
CHICAGO, IL (May 5, 2008) -— Bälle de Mätch is proud to announce industry veteran Sheri Norris has joined the company as National Sales & Promotions Manager effective today.
“Bälle de Mätch is fortunate to have Sheri lead the sales and promotion charge for the company,” said Paul Zalatoris, president of Bälle de Mätch. “Her knowledge, experience and reputation within the industry are as good as it gets. As the former TIA Industry Rep of the year, Sheri is the perfect fit and exactly the person we need as we continue on our excellent growth path”.
A former touring pro and All-American collegiate player at Arizona State University, where she also coached briefly, Norris is a certified USPTA member, as well as lifetime USTA member and has deep roots in the tennis world. Norris spent 18 years with HEAD Penn Racquet Sports, holding both promotion and sales positions during her tenure. She was recognized again and again as an outstanding sales professional, named Sales Rep of the Year multiple times and even received the prestigious TIA Industry Sales Rep of the Year award which is voted on by the retailers around the country.
Norris was also a district sales manager for both Thorlo and Reebok Tennis, handling the territory of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. And most recently, Norris was director of local marketing for Golfsmith International, where she managed local marketing and promotional strategies for the nationwide retail brand.
