Max Brownlee 'Comes Home' to Prince as Regional Vice President of Sales
Bordentown, NJ – April 9, 2008 — Prince Sports, Inc. is pleased to announce that Max Brownlee has joined the Company as its new Regional Vice President of Sales for the Western USA. Max, who is well known and well respected throughout the tennis industry, comes to Prince from Babolat USA. Prior to that, Brownlee served in many different capacities at both Prince and Wilson for more than twenty years.
“We are extremely proud that Max is re-joining the Prince family at this exciting time to help us in our drive to become number one in all product categories,” said Charlie Osborn, Vice President of National Sales at Prince USA. “Max’s relationships and experience in the industry will help us build upon our recent successes, elevate the brand to the next level and introduce generations of players to the ground-breaking products we are bringing to market.”
Brownlee, who was named Racquet Sports Industry’s “Person of the Year” in 2005 will officially begin his new role on April 22. He succeeds Ken Diller, who had been with the brand for sixteen years as a Territory Sales Manager in the Midwest and Regional Vice President in the West.
“This truly feels like coming home for me and I am ready to hit the ground running. Like many others, I have watched with great interest the strong growth Prince has achieved over the past few years. From product innovation to grassroots programs and player development, Prince has clearly defined its leadership position, and it is no wonder it continues to gain market share.”
According to recent industry surveys, Prince has experienced market share growth in 37 of the last 42 months and continues to build its leadership position in all categories.
