PTR Offers New Benefit
Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and CoachingSchool.org joined forces to provide PTR teachers and coaches with a great resource for coaching kids tennis. PTR members receive a free email subscription to the CoachingMinute, a weekly 2.5 to 5 minute audio formatted file with world class coaching concepts designed specifically for coaching kids.
The CoachingMinute is great for anyone working with kids at any level. First time instructors to seasoned veterans will gain insight from the CoachingMinute, designed to help tennis teachers create an environment where young students enjoy their lessons at a fuller, deeper level, learn more and perform better. The concepts are grounded in play, coaching and behavioral success sciences.
Gary Avischious, Founder and Director of CoachingSchool.org, reminds us that it only takes a minute to make a difference that can last a lifetime! Coaching kids is different from coaching adults. How difficult can it be, they’re just kids! Then why is it so hard to get them to do what you want? Why don’t they want to try anymore? What can you do to make it fun? How do you deal with parents? How can you push kids harder without burning them out? These questions and more are answered in the CoachingMinute.
“PTR membership is known for excellence and value. Offering the CoachingMinute adds another great benefit to the already extensive portfolio of benefits that PTR members enjoy,” said Dan Santorum, PTR CEO.
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 13,300 members in 122 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
