USPTA and Tennis Week Magazine Announce 2008 Partnership
HOUSTON - – The United States Professional Tennis Association and Tennis Week magazine are proud to announce they will continue their alliance after reaching an agreement to extend and expand their partnership in the coming year.
As part of the partnership, all USPTA domestic members will receive Tennis Week magazine with their USPTA membership. USPTA will maintain a presence in all eight issues of Tennis Week through a combination of traditional brand ads and articles written by prominent members of the USPTA covering key issues, including ideas for growing the game, instructional content, and health and fitness benefits.
USPTA and Tennis Week will collaborate on a featured page on Tennis Week’s recently re-launched Web site, Tennis Week.com. The page will include articles, playing tips and other valuable USPTA information. USPTA’s press releases and event information will be delivered to Tennis Week.com readers via Richard’s Court, Tennis Week.com’s blog. Tennis Week.com will post Tennis Channel viewing times for the USPTA show “On Court with USPTA™” in its online television schedule.
“We are glad to be continuing our relationship with Tennis Week. This has been a valuable benefit to our members throughout the years,” said USPTA CEO Tim Heckler. “Tennis Week’s Internet component is a great supplement to USPTA, which prides itself on being the most technologically driven company in tennis.”
In turn, Tennis Week has returned as a supporter of the USPTA by advertising on the back cover of each issue of USPTA’s ADDvantage magazine. In addition, USPTA and Tennis Week will also continue to explore other digital partnerships to enhance the value of their relationship.
“We couldn’t be more pleased about expanding our relationship with the USPTA in 2008,” said Tennis Week Publisher Randy Master. “As the most widely respected association of teaching professionals in the world, the USPTA and its members spend each and every day on the front lines of growing the sport of tennis. We look forward to delivering our content to USPTA members through multiple media channels in 2008. Tennis Week consumers will similarly benefit from top-notch instructional content supplied by the USPTA for our magazine and Web site.”
