New DTL Line of Tennis and Fitness Apparel Hits the Sweet Spot With right Blend Performance, Style and Price
Houston, TX -– DTL Down The Line Sportswear Inc. (DTL) was created with a specific vision in mind: blend high-performance fabric and styles in tennis and fitness apparel for women and juniors, but without the high price tag…and do it without sacrificing individualized customer service. The vision has become a reality with the launch of its first line of innovative designs featuring coordinating separates in six styles of tops and three styles of skirts that create a powerful presence on the court, in the gym or on the track.
Professionally designed and manufactured in the USA, DTL’s “Performance Court Couture” clothing is youthful in style, yet carefully crafted to work for athletes of all ages. Apparel will be sold exclusively through the DTL Web site at www.dtlsport.com and through the company’s Courtside Representative program. Courtside Reps bring the boutique to the customer. Not only do they market apparel in their geographic territory, they provide a personal point of contact for tennis players and fitness enthusiasts alike.
DTL was founded by Carla Hilbig, a former nationally-ranked junior player, member or the University of Southern California tennis team, and most recently a tennis director and clothing buyer for a prestigious tennis facility in Southern California. Hilbig formed DTL after becoming fed up with the high prices and markups charged by pro shops and disappointed with the lower quality and mass-marketed styles offered at sporting good stores and discounters.
The same competitive nature that propelled her throughout her tennis career is reflected in the style and performance of DTL. The fabric is a blend of high-quality fibers used by the leaders in tennis and fitness apparel – keeping athletes cool, dry and comfortable no matter what the temperature or how intense the action gets.
