The Wismilak Open/Commonwealth Bank Tennis Classic is underway on the island of Bali, Indonesia. Defending champion, Svetlana Kuznetsova, who has won the title three times has decided not to defend her title at this year’s event.
This week’s action has seen Daniela Hantuchova become the first seed (No. 2) to reach the quaterfinals as she defeated Elise Tamaela in straight sets. Joining her in the final eight will be Edina Gallovits and Ayumi Morita, the latter was responsible for the exit of No. 6 seed Martina Mueller.
