Andy Benedict Named National Promotions Manager for Wilson Racquet Sports
CHICAGO — Wilson Racquet Sports announced today that Andy Benedict has been named the new National Promotions Manager. In this role, Benedict will focus on the administration and day to day execution of Wilson’s tennis industry and grass roots initiatives. These responsibilities will include the management of Wilson’s WTeam Advisory Staff as well as association, event and strategic partnerships.
Benedict, a graduate of the Ferris State University Professional Tennis Management Program, has worked professionally in the tennis industry for the past 10 years. As a longtime USPTA Tennis Professional and recently a Director at Lakeshore Athletic Club in Chicago, Benedict brings with him extensive relationships within the tennis industry as well as a wealth of hands-on knowledge and experience. Benedict’s strong playing and teaching background combined with his strong management experience make him an important addition in rounding out Wilson’s Promotions team.
