With world number one Justine Henin and Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams both out of play due to injury, will Sharapova score a second straight victory?

Where: The Olympic Arena, Stockholm, Sweden
2006 Singles Winner: Jie Zheng
2006 Doubles Winners: Eva Birnerova & Jarmila Gajdosova
Prize Money: $145,000
The Nordea Nordic Light Open, the only WTA Championship of the Nordic and Baltic region will take place on Monday at Stockholm’s Olympic Arena.
With the 2006 champion Zie Jheng and two time runner-up Anastasia Myskina not attending it is anyone’s guess as to who will reign victorious in 2007.
