Build your own bone yard

From time to time it is necessary to discard a cracked racquet. Before you throw it out, though, remove everything from the racquet that could be useful to you in the future. This includes the dampener, butt cap, trim tape ring, and any grommets that are reusable. You never know when you may need a particular frame accessory!

5 sets of Silent Partner Headspin 15L to:

Fred S. McWilliams, CS, Arlington, TX

Editor’s note: Also make certain that you remove any lead from the racquet so it doesn’t go into a landfill. This includes lead tape, fishing weights, curtain weights, lead shot, etc. You don’t want the lead to leach out into the ground water, and enter the drinking water system. You can then dispose of the lead properly at your community’s hazardous waste collection day.
