Open Sesame
Those rubber grippers — designed to cushion and protect your hands when you open jars — are handy to keep next to the stringing machine. I use one to protect my hands and fingers when loosening machine mounts after I’m finished stringing a racquet. They can even be had for free if you look around. The one I am currently using promotes a local newspaper. I picked it up for free at a local county fair.
