Installing Tubing

It is often difficult to insert tubing through regular (that is, non-tie-off) grommet holes. Even after stretching it a little, as recommended in Racquet Service Techniques, it is still hard to push it through. I found that if I take a piece of 18-gauge string slightly longer than the piece of tubing, and slide it into the tubing, I can push the tubing and string into and through the grommet. Then I hold the tubing in place while sliding out the string. Works every time!
