Lubricate the Blocking String

When working with natural gut or other fragile strings, I put a little lubricant on the blocking string before pulling the cross string through. This is a prime area for friction, and a little lubrication can prevent the creation of a notch that could jeopardize the string job. Make certain to wipe off any excess lubricant from the outside of the frame before giving the racquet to the customer, of course.
