Babolat Frame Mounting

The section in the manuals for the Babolat Star 3, Star 4, and Sensor tell you to mount the frame by bringing in the side-support arms before tightening the supports at 6 and 12 o’clock, but it’s tough to get the racquet centered top-to-bottom between the towers using this method. I do it differently and have never had a problem. After backing off the side-support arms to allow the racquet to pass, I grab the racquet by the handle with my right hand, and hook the hoop over the 12 o’clock support. With my left hand, I turn the adjustment for the 12 o’clock support until I see that the frame is centered top-to-bottom between the towers. Then I turn in the side supports for the head until it just makes contact, hold the frame with my left hand, and bring in the side support for the throat and the 6 o’clock support so that they are still fairly loose. With the frame centered top-to-bottom and side-to-side, I then snug up the supports as specified in the manual.
