Alpha Clamp Pinning

I used to have a problem with the clamps on my Alpha Revo 3000 stringing machine. The problem was that over time the hinge pins in the clamps would slowly work their way out of the clamp and I would have to pound them back in. I have solved this problem by using a center punch to put a small “dimple” in the clamp at each end of the hinge pin. The dimple is made right next to the pin’s hole and deforms the clamp metal just enough to stop the pin from moving out.
